We had the same problem and it's because there is build-up in the lid components that is preventing the coffee from flowing through properly. I'm trying to find out how to disassemble the lid to clean it (it was very easy on older models, but we can't get this one apart); but in the meantime I used a wooden chopstick to rotate the disk inside and scrape it really well. With alternate scraping and rinsing with a strong stream of water we got it cleaned enough for the coffee to flow freely again.
