Cub Cadet Tank M72 Service Manual

Where can i find a 2004 cub cadet M72 service manual? i have a problem, whenever i disengage the parking brake, the engine dies. i have reviewed the operator manual about safety switches. the seat switch is working, the parking brake switch is working, the engine starts. with engine running, moving either contol handles to drive position causes engine to die, also disengaging parking brake causes engine to die.

Hi. I would double check both switches and see if they are being engaged all the way.

Sometimes brackets get bent out of shape of the mounting is just off a bit and you can bend it back to make the switch engage

other times, the switch can get broken and requiring replacement

Also, the connectors get loose on the switch (or off) and need to be taken off, and then put back on so the wires are actually connected to this Kill switch.

The Service Manual is sadly not readily available.
