Drive Belt Broken It Has Electric Power Steering How To Repair??

Replacing the drive belt on a Cub Cadet LGTX 1050 with electric power steering is a fairly straightforward process. Here are the steps you can follow:
- Turn off the engine and remove the key to prevent accidental starting.
- Locate the drive belt on the underside of the mower deck. The belt is typically black and wraps around the engine pulley and transmission pulley.
- Using a wrench, loosen the bolts that hold the electric power steering motor in place. You may need to remove other components to access the motor, such as the battery or battery box.
- Once the motor is loosened, carefully slide it to one side to create enough clearance to remove the old drive belt.
- Remove the old drive belt by carefully pulling it off the engine and transmission pulleys.
- Install the new drive belt by wrapping it around the pulleys in the same way as the old belt.
- Move the electric power steering motor back into place and tighten the bolts with the wrench.
- Check the tension of the new belt by pushing down on it with your finger. The belt should have a little bit of give but should not be loose. Adjust the tension if necessary.
- Reinstall any components that were removed to access the motor.
- Test the mower to make sure the new drive belt is working properly.
