If your Cub Cadet LGT 1054 engine refuses to run after 30 minutes of operation, there are a few potential causes you can check:
  1. Overheating: Overheating is a common cause of engine failure. Make sure that the engine cooling system, including the radiator, fan, and cooling fins, is clean and free of debris. Check the engine oil level and make sure it is at the proper level.
  2. Fuel flow: If the fuel flow is restricted or the fuel filter is clogged, the engine may not receive enough fuel to run. Check the fuel filter and replace it if it's dirty or clogged. Also, check the fuel lines and make sure they are not kinked or obstructed.
  3. Ignition system: If the ignition system is faulty, it can cause the engine to stall or fail to start. Check the spark plug and make sure it's clean and properly gapped. Also, check the ignition coil and spark plug wire for signs of wear or damage.
  4. Carburetor: A dirty or clogged carburetor can also cause engine failure. Try cleaning the carburetor and associated components.
  5. Electrical system: Check the battery, wiring, and charging system to ensure they are functioning properly.

If none of these solutions work, it may be worth taking the machine to a qualified mechanic for further diagnosis and repair.
