Locate the oil drain plug on the underside of the engine.
Using a wrench, loosen the drain plug by turning it counterclockwise.
Once the plug is loose, remove it carefully and allow the oil to drain completely into the pan.
When all of the oil has drained out, replace the drain plug and tighten it securely by turning it clockwise.
Refill the engine with the appropriate amount of oil as specified in the owner's manual.
Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes, then check the oil level again to make sure it's at the correct level.
Dispose of the used oil and oil filter properly according to local regulations.
