Blades Stop Easily

when you start the blades they start real slow before they get to speed but they stop at the least amount of strain.

I bet your drive belt to the blades is strechted out. Make sure your spindle bearings are good on mower deck too. Just get a new oem belt and i bet your oild one is a little bit longer. I hope this helps, Julian.
