Incorrect Deck Height Settings. Cub Cadet Cc760
Looking for help on how to adjust my deck to match the factory settings on the deck height adjustments. On the highest setting my deck currently sits at 2 1/4 inches. On the lowest setting the deck dracs the ground. My understanding is that the highest setting should be about 3.5 inches. Please help. I cannot afford to scalp another customers yard. Thanks.

How do you adjust the height on a Cub Cadet deck?
To level the deck from the front to rear, place the deck lift lever in the middle position. Wearing gloves, rotate the blade closest to the discharge chute parallel to the lawn mower. Measure the height of the front blade tip to the ground. Next, measure the height of the rear blade tip to the ground.
How do you change the blade height on a Cub Cadet riding lawn mower?
To adjust your Cub Cadet Tractor deck from side to side, rotate the blade closest to the discharge chute, making it perpendicular to the lawn mower. Then measure the distance from the right side of the right-hand blade tip to the ground, and the distance from the left side of the left-hand blade tip to the ground.
Is a push mower deck height supposed to be the same at the front and back?
For most effective results, a lawn mower deck should have a pitch, or height difference of 1/8-inch to 1/2-inch between the front of the deck to the back of the deck. ... Be careful not to pitch too much that you start scalping lawns.

Turn the adjusting lock nut clockwise to raise the mower and counterclockwise to lower it. Measure from the blade to the ground again on both sides and adjust until the difference between the blade tip heights are within U39; -inch. Rotate the blades so that their direction is now front to back.
Should the mower deck wheels touch the ground?
Mower deck gauge wheels should be properly adjusted to prevent scalping grass on uneven terrain. The bottom of the wheels should sit approximately 1/8-1/2 of an inch from the ground, depending on your cutting height.
