Huawei Android Smart Phone

I recently bought a huawei m860 smart phone from cricket ( i have their company ) and i upgraded my plan to android plan yet i cannot access ANY internet. When i called the company they all told me i had it yet nothing. i cant even make a google account on the phone to activate internet cause it has no internet. My question is why does it say i have no data services or connection if cricket is saying i do ?
