How to Modify Craigslist Posts Step 1

Open the email Craigslist sent you when you originally added your post to the site.

Step 2

Click on the link provided in the email, located beneath the "Click on the Web address below to publish, edit or delete this posting" message.

Step 3

Click on the gray "Edit this Posting" button at the top of the screen.

Step 4

Highlight the current text that you want to change and hit "Delete" on your keyboard. Type the new text and click the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page. Review your changes and click "Continue" again. Enter the CAPTCHA message, when prompted, and click "OK" to finalize the edits.
