My Craigslist Account Has Been On Hold For, No Kidding, Over A Year. What Do?

It has been over a year. I tried to create a new account but my perfectly functional cell phone number for some reason will not work to create another account, even though it is now a different number than what it would have been when I first made my account, if it did ask for one (which I'm pretty sure it didn't.)I have tried mailing help to no avail, and over a year unable to do a thing on the site is kinda malarky. What do?
