Site Runs Extremely Slow. Unable Two Post?

When I do log on the site run extremely slow and I cannot post as it times out. I had an account in the past whiched worked good and have used the site prior to e-bay without any problems. What is wrong now? What can I do to fix the problem. I do not have this problem on any other sites. Please advise.

Excessive traffic will slow down access or block it altogether. The problem is transitory.
