Sending Replys

i do not have sound on computor,when i send a reply to a ad on graigslist,it asks me to enter characters before sending messages,what does this mean and what  do i use,,,,plz help,very flusterd

You just copy the characters in the box provided.

If you don't see the characters, look for the three small icons vertically arranged at the right. Moving your mouse pointer over each will reveal its function. One will give you a different display; another will convert the puzzle to an audible one (instead of visual); and the third will provide help.
