Appearance Of Telephone Number In Ad

I pulled up my ad to check for accuracy. My telephone number does not appear in the body of the ad or anywhere else unless I push the box that says "show contact information". It then appears where I placed it at the bottom of the body of the ad. Is that the correct area to display the telephone number and is this what everybody who goes to the ads must do in order to get the contact information, or did I make a mistake and not put the contact information in the correct area.

You did not make a mistake. That's how your phone number will be displayed, although you can vary the display: If you don't mention the phone number in the text but tell Craigslist to divulge your phone number, the number will displayed only when the user hits "reply."
