Can Anybody Tell Me How To Receive An Email From Someone In Personals

On Craigslist I sent an email to someone who in the personal section. How do I receive an answer from them? Does it go to my email? Do I have to have an account? Do Cookies have to be loaded up? Your FAQ section only gives answers re: replying to a post, NOT receiving from a post. If I do have to have an account, I forgot my password more than a month ago and a passworrd was never sent to my email address. And now I can't even use another email address from my computer. I'm lost.
