I Can't Get In Touch With A Seller By Reply Email. Is There Any Other Way?

I have offered to pay full price, cash but I have not heard from the seller. The item was re-posted today for sale... The only way to contact him is via reply email. What do I do to get in touch with him? Doug

The only way of replying is with the contact information in or next to the post.

Craigslist says that in an effort to curb abuse of its email servers and limit the amount of spam inflicted upon its users, it does not accept email from computers with dynamically assigned IP addresses, or hosts that have generic DNS setup.

If that's the case, the easiest solution may be to use the mail server of your ISP to relay your email. If you're not sure how to set up your mail client to do this, you may need to phone your ISP. If you have a static IP address and want to be able to send email through your own mail server, you will need to ask your ISP to set up non-generic DNS for your IP address. If these suggestions don't work, you may want to use one of the many free Web-based email systems.
