How To Start,

your web tells you how to change, edit but not how to start as first time user. i want to list my home with pictures. can someone call me 865-254-7948 to tell me how to do this or a detailed response at [email protected] would work. have no idea how to get started and add pictures

You have not reached Craigslist but an independent help site.

To post, find the prominent "post to classifieds" link (it's at the upper-left corner of the main page), drill down to the appropriate category, and fill out the simple form.

Depending on the posting category you may be invited to add a picture from your hard disk. (For more details, go to www.craigslist.org/about/help/pic.) Otherwise, you can add graphics in HTML with the <img> tag, if your picture has been posted to the Web--although lately Craigslist has been blocking that tag in some cases.

Unless you have your own website, the best way to get your picture on the Web and into Craigslist may be by using the free Addsnaps hosting service. Just upload your photo to Addsnaps and paste the provided code snippet into your ad.
