Why Cant I Reply To Ads

Neber had trouble on c.l before but i am unable to reply to ads or flag them. why and how do I fix it?

I note that you've never had previous problems. The change may possibly be due at least in part to recent lax enforcement by Craigslist of the following.

Craigslist says that in an effort to curb abuse of its email servers and limit the amount of spam inflicted upon its users, it does not accept email from computers with dynamically assigned IP addresses, or hosts that have generic DNS setup.

The easiest solution may be to use the mail server of your ISP to relay your email. If you're not sure how to set up your mail client to do this, you may need to phone your ISP. If you have a static IP address and want to be able to send email through your own mail server, you will need to ask your ISP to set up a non-generic DNS for your IP address. If these suggestions don't work, you may want to use one of the many free Web-based email systems.

Two other possibilities:

1. It could be a browser issue. A good first step is to clear your cache and cookies. How you do that depends on your browser. In Firefox, use its toolbar to go to Tools|Options|History, and then click "clear your recent history." See your own browser's help section if you don't know how. Then restart your computer. 2. It could be be a glitch in Craigslist's programming. You can bring it to Craigslist's attention with this Craigslist form.
