The bank was the same one as on the website.  The trailer was sold on Craigs List Los Angeles and the ad has disapeared.

Interesting thing is she email NetConsignor to let them know she was filing charges and they responded to her via email.  They said they had mechanical problems and she would get the trailer Friday (Bull$hit).

They accidently left an email address in the header and my daughter reached out to that person. Turns out that person was getting ready to wire $11,000 to NetConsignor that same day.  At least my daughter and was save that poor person from getting robbed.

If you don't mind my asking, how much did they get you for?

I am sorry to say we never received the item she purchased. NetConsignor.com is a definite scam.  It's a very elaborate scam because if you search the company on the Internet you get "people" who say it is legit and that they have used the company.  I'm sure those "people" are part of the scam.

 

In any case, my daughter is out $3500 and she has filed a report with the bank and with the Federal Authorities. I hope they did not take you for too much money.

I'm not sure how to replay to you via email.  That is the same person my daughter communicated with, only in this case the trailer was located in Los Angeles, CA.

She filed a complaint with the back (wire fraud) and with the Federal Government http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx.

I came across another fraudulent seller on Craigslist, but this person was using the Amazon name not Net Consignor.  I forwarded the email to Amazon for their follow-up.

I’m not sure where you are getting your information that Net Consignor is a legitimate business.  If you have information that confirms it is legit, please post it here as I would love to be able to contact the company directly.

 It is a very elaborate scam and they have gone out of their way to appear legit, including fake postings about having used the service and it being legit. DO NOT USE NET CONSIGNOR unless you want to be ripped off.

1. We never received the item we paid for and are now out $3500, despite paying to the account listed on their website.
2. They are not registered in Washington, where their headquarters are supposed to be located.
3. Mail sent to their headquarters gets returned as undeliverable.
4. All their warehouse locations are public storage units.  When you call the public storage companies they say they have never heard of Net Consignor.
5. All the truck pictures on their websites belong to another company that has never heard of Net Consignor (check the DOT numbers on the trucks).
6. They are listed on FraudAlert (http://www.fraud-news.com/showthread.php/52560-NetConsignor) among other fraud prevention websites.
7. Their website is no longer accessible.

The simple rule for Craigslist is cash only and pick up in person. Craigslist is not eBay. You do not have any buyer protection with Craigslist. 

Netconsignor.com is a legitimate service, but I wouldn't use them. Nothing beats paying with cash after you actually see the item you are buying.
