My Gmail Account On Craigslist Not Working

Everytime I try to use my gmail account for background check or age verifacation, I'm told that addresd is alrrady in use. Why?

If you see the "Email already exists" message when you try to create or change your account username:

You might have already created a Google Account with that username
Someone else might have already taken the username.

After you get back into your account, you can do the following:

Reset your password

Change the email address you use to sign in

Change your alternate email address

Delete your Google Account
