Our Account Is On Hold

We have not used Craigslist for over 5 years. We tried to put something on and we got no further than "your account is ON HOLD". Just what does this mean???? We read all the articles sent to us from Craigsist and none of them answer this question. We have never even had a sale on Craigslist. Why is this happening?

Sorry for your problems.

Craigslist says, "Posts may be removed or omitted from index pages and search results by automated systems, CL staff, or community moderation—for non-compliance with terms of use, site guidelines, and/or community norms."

It's not possible from the information you've provided to discern the source of the problem. And it might not be possible under any circumstances.

You may be able to solve the issue with the use of a Web proxy, as offered free at http://www.zend2.com/. Fellow Help Owl volunteer smcclurken has additional suggestions here.
