What Are Their Screening Methods?

Why do they allow so many unscrupulous persons to keep posting especially freelancing job offers and they some of them including travelling in a bid to catch unsuspecting job seekers?

As you can probably appreciate, it's difficult to assess motivations that are not one's own. I can only guess that with its tiny staff and huge user base--nearly all of which pays nothing--Craigslist feels it does not have the resources to do much if any screening. It does warn potential victims (see http://www.craigslist.org/about/scams and http://www.craigslist.org/about/help/abuse) and will to one extent or another try to enforce rules meant to make Craigslist more reliable (see http://www.craigslist.org/about/help/). You can make your views known to Craigslist using https://losangeles.craigslist.org/contact.
