How Do I Remove Front Baffle On 700 Series B&s Mower?

The baffle is broken (ran into stump under weeds). I have removed the 2 screws on either side of it but there are metal pieces that protrude on either side. It is model 917.374366. The manual is no help. I do have a replacement baffle.
