Lawn Tractor Model 28922

Mower drive belt seems to be extra loose when mower is engaged, cuts o.k., but makes the whole mower vibrate. I replaced the belt with a new Craftsman belt, but that did not solve the problem.  Have checked the springs, they all seem to be o.k.   Where do I look now ?
