No Sound After Vista Service Pack 2 Installed In Compaq V3500 Laptop
cant locate audio device in device manager have done updates from hp still no audio device found erroe

Hi I had a very similar problem so I now use
SOUNDMAX INTEGRATED DIGITAL AUDIO DRIVER
AND SINCE HAVE FOUND IT TO BE VERY GOOD
GOODLUCK

The service pack removed the audio driver. You simply need to reinstall it.
