This method of loading the player has never failed to work for me:
On your menu screen, locate your COBY mp3 player (on my screen it appears as Removable Disk P:) and open the files. Delete all previous folders and files you have previously loaded on your device.
Create a new folder and name it what you will.
Drag and drop the songs one at a time into this folder in the order you want them to play. This works also for chapters of audio books.
After you are done with this folder, you can continue to create other folders and do the same thing as described above.
