Classmates.com is getting a very bad reputation for renewing memberships of people who no longer want to subscribe to their service. You can try to contact them, but you won't get much help trying to cancel your membership.

If however you do want to reverse the charge, the previous advice is still wrong, for 4 reasons:
- It's possible you may have without realizing it agreed to the charge, and if Classmates can show that, your appeal to you bank will almost certainly fail.
- It's likely in any case that before reversing the charge your bank will want documentation that you attempted to clear the charge with Classmates.
- If you do not communicate with Classmates, Classmates may continue to add charges annually.
- I have read a great many complaints against Classmates, but have seen none at all claiming that Classmates did not itself reverse charges when so requested.
Should you want reversal and not just cancellation, you can write the company with this form, but I urge you to send a certified snailmail to the company, giving them a reasonable time (say 10 days) in which to respond. Then if you don't receive satisfaction you can always appeal to your bank—but observe the bank's time limits, which you can learn by phoning the bank.
