I Ran Over My Keys With My Lawnmower. I Tried To Start My Van With My Valet Key

My original keys have a chip inside to operate the electric doors.  I tried to start my van, it started and shut off, I tried it again, same thing.  Now when I tried, the power buttons for the door work, I can not start the van though. Could this be happening from using the valet key?
