Crack In Radiator Line
my daughter just had her chrysler dealer repair a crack in her radiator line and charged her $450. Does this seem right or were they just making up for part of the $1500 cylinder head repair that was covered by warranty?

Radiator hoses are rubber and cost around $20 each. They would not crack after three years.
The transmission lines may go to the radiator to help cool the transmission. Repairing those lines can be a pain. You can repair them for about $50 in parts, but replacing both lines could cost double that.
I would say you got ripped off. They charged you at least $350 in labor for a repair that takes maybe two hours to do. They may have added a quart or two of tranny fluid as well, but the final price is WAY too high.
