Starting
when you turn the key to start the engine**all you get is a clicking sound

Disconnect your battery cables from the battery and clean them. They are probably corroded, so there isn't enough voltage going to the starter to turn it. Scrape them with a screwdriver or rough them up with sandpaper to get the corrosion off.
If that doesn't work, disconnect the negative battery cable and clean the starter connections. The starter connections can corrode as well.
If those two things don't work, then it's probably your starter. A weak battery will usually turn the engine slowly instead of clicking, so it's probably not your battery.
