Follow these steps to replace the license plate bulb:
  1. Open the trunk and lift it up partially.
  2. Check for the license plate lamps which can be found above the license plate.
  3. You need to pull the lamp assembly out and then remove the two screws that hold the bulb using a screwdriver.
  4. Pull the lamb assembly in the downward direction out of the car.
  5. Remove the bulb as well.
  6. Take the new bulb and place it into the lamp assembly and the contacts need to be against the metal ends of the bulb.
  7. Place the new lamp assembly and place the screws.
