There are normally two on every vehicle, one near the tank and one closer to the engine. The rear Chrysler fuel filter is normally of the cartridge type, which is very easy to change. Simply open the assembly containing the unit, and switch the old part with the new part. The front Chrysler fuel filter is typically an inline filter, located somewhere on the fuel line. To change this type, disconnect the fuel line from each end, and reconnect the fuel lines to the new part. Be careful with the plastic quick-connect fittings on the fuel lines, because they may be easy to break when installing the Chrysler fuel filter, especially on cold days.
