Allison Tranmission Issues (legacy Series)

I have a 2009 chev crew cab ltz with a duramax allison transmission combination, all of a sudden, a message appears, shift inhibited select N to reset, checked with diagnostic tool, codes coming up are vatiations of P7080 sensor input output high. Allison transmission guys tell me it is an issue with the sensor in the cab that was installed by Chev, iam being told by Chev that it is either a internal wiring harness in the allison or a sensor on the side somewhere or a worn wire somewhere. Can anybody help me ir maje suggestions? Please!
