Maintenance Schedule

I own a 2009 Chev. 1500 4x4 (Silverado LTZ) & I am wondering if I need to change the automatic transmission fluid & filter as well as the transfer case fluid at 80,000 kms. ( the manual states to do this if under severe duty services) I don't qualify under this category, but is it better to be safe than sorry? Gary
