2008 Hd3500 Chevy 4x4 Duramax 'limp' (low Power) Mode (towing Heavy Load).

Vehicle was 2-yrs old and approx 20,000-miles, and would go into the "LIMP" mode (less than 35mph max) when towing more than 15,000-lbs (w/ less than 20,000-miles) like it was starving for fuel. I filed a complaint w/ the NTSB but no reply. Dealer checked the fuel pressure then stated they thought it was a collapsed fuel line or dirt in the fuel tank. I pulled the fuel tank (it was clean) and replaced all the fuel lines (but none were collapsed). Since no problems were found and the fuel system does NOT have a fuel pump to push the fuel to the injection pump, I installed a $700 + "Air-Dog" system w/ a 165-gal per hour electric pump (at my personal expense). Since that "Air-Dog" system installation, there have been "0" issues towing a heavy loads w/ my HD3500 Duramax. Is there any other repair that should have been performed? With all the recent GM recalls, this issue should be included.
