Suv Shut Off While Idling In Drive,will Not Start But Turns Over,whats Wrong?

batterys good,1/2 tank of gas,and my back lights and dash lights have stop working,what can i do to fix it asap. but most importantly need to get her back running asap. please help me im a single mother of 5 kids and its my only transportation. thank you sooo much.GOD BLESS!

This sounds to me like bad wiring. The best thing you can do is take it to a mechanic to fix it. It would be the fastest way to fix the problem, because wiring issues take ages to diagnose and fix from home believe me I've been there! Best of luck to you!
