? About Chevy Cobalt

i have a 06 chevy  cobalt ls. it is stalling out when i slow down for stop signs. it makes like a rumbling sound and feels lime its almost jerking when i go. like its bogging down. do you have any idea what this .ay be? if you can help it would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
