What type of AC gas should I put in my 2004 chevy venture aircondition?

Your vehicle uses R-134a refrigerant. Please use extreme care if you are going to add refrigerant to your A/C. There is a low pressure line and a high pressure line. The high side is under a lot of pressure and can seriously injure you if you try to add the refrigerant to that side. Always add it to the low pressure line. 

If you don't know which line is which, do not attempt to recharge the A/C by yourself. It isn't that hard to charge the system, but you must know what you are doing.
