New Turn Signal Led 3157 Bulbs.

I replacer my regular turn sinal bulbs with the new LED 3157 bulbs. They work fine but they flash extremely fast causing me to think I need to replace the turn signal flasher relay with a heavier one. First and foremost, will this correct the fast flashing problem, secondly, where's the flasher relay located and what does it look like?

The flasher is working or you would get no flashing from the new led bulb. There is something about the led that is causing the flasher to act as if the bulb is blown. FYI, the flasher usually is located under the driver dash. It will look like a small box.
