Fix For Gas Gage Going To E When Idling;bk To F Upon Acelleration?

In park or in gear gas gage goes to E and low fuel light comes on; upon acceleration gas gage goes to F And stays till idling again regardless of amt of gas in tank. All other gages work ok. Just started. No way to know how much gas in tank. Put new battery in but did not make any difference. No code shows on computer. Is there a fix?
