Can't Clear Malfunction Indicator Lamp On 2004 Chevy Impala

The Malfunction Indicator Lamp (Check Engine Light) is on. The engine seems to be working fine, temp is OK. I would appreciate any help on what I should be looking at or how to reset the indicator. Thanks Dan
