Car Jack Assembly

How do I re-assemble my car jack so that it all "fits" together and in its compartment in the cargo section? I had a flat tire and some gentlemen used it to change the tire for me but didn't put it all back together for me.  I think I have all the pieces just cant make them "fit"! Help!!
