Astro Will Not Shift Out Of Park

Its either the transmission shifter interlock being faulty or the brake light switch. The brake light switch is the more likely of the two and the easier to check. The same switch that tells the brake lights to light up also allows the shifter interlock to release. Have a freind look at your brake lights as you press the pedal. Chances are you won't have any brake lights.
