Hi: What usually happens is the flag which runs thru the sensor opening and either blocks light or clears the opening is stuck in the wrong postion. Look for any plastic moving parts which look like they move in the direction of the paper path and then should return by spring action towards the oposite direction. Make sure it is in a like up position ready to be pressed down by the paper moving thru the printer. If in the pressed down position you will get the paper jam message.i
