Gas Cap Prob ????

just bought a 2001 c5 corvette. filled the gas tank and i am smelling an unual amount of ligering gas fumes.. has there ever been a recall of the cap. thanks d

check fuel down tube for leaks or cracks consider replacing gas cap,inspect bottom of filler tube were meets tank
