How Come When I Turned My Lights On In My 96 Chevy Silverado The Dash Boar Light

How come when I turned my headlights on my dash board lights didn't come on?

It could be that a simple fuse was blown and needs to be replaced. They cost a couple bucks and are fairly easy to replace. The trouble is with finding which one isn't working, but you can usually look and tell.
