How To Change Oil Pump

My oil light came on and the engine stopped running

If your oil pump seized up and you ran the car until it stalled, the engine is destroyed. There is no point replacing the oil pump.

But if you want to try it, it will be a pain to do. It is located inside the engine front cover, since it runs off of the crankshaft (I think). Here's what it looks like:
