1998 Corvetter Rear View Mirrors.

I recently purchased a 1998 Corvette and have found that the drivers side rear view mirror (fixture) does not rotate 90 degrees like the passengers side mirror fixture. Is this normal?

I don't think so, go to page 2-54 of this manual for mirror info.
