Right Blinker Going Haywire.

I replaced the flasher, blinker switch and fuses. When I turn on the right blinker, all 4 flash. What could possibly cause this? I would appreciate any and all help. Thanks.

Please check the following.

Turn your running lights on, do you have tail lights?
Turn your running lights off,
Turn each turn signal on, first left then right, do they blink normally?
Does your front blink but not rear?
If front blinks but not rear on one side only, that is usually a bulb issue
If both rears are not blinking then either bulb, wiring or another issue I will get into.

Have a second person depress the brake pedal, or figure out a way to push the pedal down. Do you have brake lights?

If you have non of the above on both sides or even one side, first check the bulbs.
If bulbs are good, look use a multimeter an back probe your trailer light harness to see if you have brake lights and turn signal. If you do, then the problem is the back plane of the tail light housing.

If you do not have a trailer harness on your truck, Look up under the rear of the truck bed near the tail gate area. You will find the tail light harness coming down one side to the truck and going over to the other tail light. There will be a connector splitting the two. Unplug this connector and check for the same as above.
Basically the front and rear of the truck is connected for Blinkers and running lights. If they work on the front but not the back it is fairly simple to figure out why. Just need to verify if you have power going to the tail lights at the rear of the truck or not.

My 88 chevy truck had everything stop working in the rear. Doing the above test I found the tail light boards were just old and corroded. I bought new boards for $10 each at the auto parts store in the "Dorman" isle. It is the isle where they keep door handles and such
