What Is The Name Of The Pulley Located Under The Altenator?

i was driving to work when my belt began to screech and then it stopped, my power steering and my heater went out, and everything was running on just the attery.  the locked up pulley appears to e the one located just under the altenator but i lack a manual and enough car knowledge. any help would be greatly appreciated.  it is a 1991 chevy s10 2.8 v6
