Boarding Seat Or Boarding Pass At The Airport ( Lax ) Can't Get On Line

Going to Thailand this Monday Dec. 8th. The on line service will not give me a boarding pass ( 48 hours ) - can I go to LAX and get a boarding pass/seat Sunday Dec. 7th for my flight on Monday the 8th. ?
